Jason brings a unique blend of corporate expertise and industry vision to CVSDude, having shifted from a company business advisor to CEO. Through his tenure at IBM® and other high-tech companies, Jason has deep software industry experience as well as a proven track record of leading technology startups through rapid global expansion. From 2000 to 2006, Jason was CEO of Brisbane-based Shortcuts Software, where annual revenues grew from 600K to $12M. Jason raised over $9M in capital from private investors and public funds, opened a Los Angeles-based US headquarters and developed distribution partners in 25+ countries. In 2006, Jason returned to Sydney as General Manager of Abuzz Technologies, where his achievements included more than doubling annual revenues to $8M and securing product rollouts to leading Australian Telecoms. Jason also advises numerous tech startups in Brisbane-based i.lab (Australia's 2007 Technology Incubator of the Year), was a delegate to the Entrepreneurs APEC Conference in China and served on the Queensland IT Ministerial Advisory Board (2002-2006). He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hofstra University, NY and is active in a number of political and environmental causes.

Inspired by SourceForge yet seeking a private, commercial equivalent with enhanced features, Mark founded CVSDude in 2002 and is the company's Chief Technology Officer. As the first 'free and commercial' hosted source control provider, CVSDude gained a reputation for being affordable, developer-centric, and service oriented - growing to serve more than 1,000 users in 12 months. Supervising a team of programmers worldwide, Mark is coordinating the development of all new enhancements for CVSDude's solutions across the company's growing range of free, professional and enterprise offerings. Mark has over 12 years of experience in Enterprise Linux®/Solaris® platforms in Australian and London-based IT organizations. As senior UNIX® programmer at the University of Queensland, Mark helped design and implement an IT software infrastructure that reliably scaled to 60,000+ users. Mark was recipient of the Queensland Premier's Richard Joel Young Entrepreneur award (2007), gave the winning pitch at the $100K UQ Enterprize Competition (2007), received a high commendation award at the Queensland Pearcey awards (2008), and holds a degree in Information Technology from University of Queensland and accreditions from Sun® and Oracle®. Mark is a keen traveler and surfer, and most recently hiked the Machu Picchu Inca trail in Peru.

Guy joined CVSDude in October 2006 as the first business hire. He has rapidly expanded our sales and marketing programs and is forging new relationships with strategic partners, industry, and investors. Guy led several early expansion initiatives, including the business planning behind CVSDude's winning $100K UQ Enterprize Competition (2007) bid, followed by raising an Angel round of funding (2008). Working with Jason, Guy is honing the CVSDude SaaS (Software as a Service) corporate strategy, and focusing on recruiting new customers, expanding website content and traffic, increasing brand awareness, and building our 'Green Donation' program. Guy is also managing the company's external marketing agencies and consultants. Guy was previously an Analyst with San Francisco-based Broadlane Inc. in a consulting group managed by a former McKinsey & Company principal. Guy earned a B.S. from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Queensland (Paleoceanography). Guy has published in numerous scientific journals and appeared in newspaper, TV and media reports.

Jeremy Kirkwood
Senior Linux Administrator Jeremy has been with CVSDude since 2004. As our lead systems administrator, Jeremy has over five years of experience programming in Linux environments, working on various types of highly availabile services. Jeremy is focused primarily on ensuring that customers receive prompt, friendly expert support, and is also working with Mark Bathie on the design and implementation of our new File Cluster System (FCS). The FCS represents the future of highly available, scalable, and redundant data storage. Prior to CVSDude, Jeremy studied computer science at the University of Queensland, Australia. |

Sarah George
Senior Developer Sarah George joined the CVSDude team in 2007, bringing over 10 years of commercial development experience, most recently as a Lead UNIX programmer at Monash University. At CVSDude, Sarah has co-led the redesign of the CVSDude platform, implementing our billing systems, and streamlining all front and back-end features. According to Sarah's blog, Sarah has been programming for nearly 25 years and is passionate about writing elegant, minimalistic code. Sarah holds a B.S. (honors) in computer science from Monash University, and has published multiple papers in the area of software design. |

Mark George
Senior Developer Mark George came to CVSDude at the insistence of his sister Sarah in late 2007, and has over eight years of programming experience specializing in user interface design and software architecture (C++, CSS/HTML, Perl, PHP, AJAX). As a leader developer, Mark is focused on taking CVSDude's website and online services in exciting new directions, with particular emphases on performance and usability. Previous to CVSDude, Mark held developer roles in various industries, including mobile devices (Trolltech) and sports (Webbsoft, Inc.), and has a B.S. in computer science from Monash University. Mark is a computer games addict, and enjoys scuba diving and snorkeling when the weather permits. |

Emil Emilov
Senior Developer Emil Emilov joined CVSDude in 2008, and has over 13 years of experience as a senior software engineer. Most recently, Emil worked in companies or projects for mobile platform maker Trolltech (acquired by Nokia in 2007), pro!vision (Berlin, Germany), and Audi / VW (Berlin, Germany). Emil is passionate about elegant code, and had full lifecycle responsibility for deploying multi-tiered Enterprise applications. Emil supervised multiple rollouts of CRM & ERP applications at mission critical sites around Europe, where they still run robustly (24/7) today. Emil is intimately familiar with a vast array of technologies (the list is too large to be printed here). On his own time Emil trades on the stock market and enjoys reading sci-fi literature. |
